INTRODUCING OUR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Stilton and Cranberry - a lovely rich sweet cranberry sauce base, topped with tangy stilton and dried cranberries, finished with smoked pancetta and rocket. Available in Mortons Spar Tattenhall.

The poffee and Tattenhall Marina have also been restocked today. If you missed delivery for this week, no worries it will be available again next Thursday.

PAR BAKED DELIVERY

Fancy one of our par baked pizzas, but don't want to venture out in the grotty weather? We will deliver Thursday evenings for orders of 4 pizzas or more, so that you are all ready for the weekend. Order by 3pm on the Thursday via either Facebook messenger or email firedup@thebeartattenhall.com with your address and a contact phone number or email address and we will send you through a payment link. We can then delivery your par baked pizzas between 4pm and 7pm Thursday evening.

Also available in Mortons Spar Tattenhall, Poffee, and starting this week also stocked at Tattenhall Marina. #shoplocal #pizza

Designed for you to cook at home in less than 10 mins and made from all our fresh, quality ingredients.

RESTORATION - EXTENSION ROOF

The roof is going on the extension at the back of the pub, with the concrete due next week to turn it into a roof terrace.

It may not seem that much is happening from the front of the building, but work is still progressing with the new plant room almost watertight.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND THANK YOU

Thank you all so much for your support with our pop up pizza venture whilst we work on getting the pub up and running. It is much appreciated and we have enjoyed keeping you all updated on the pubs progress.
We have closed collection of hot woodfired pizzas now for the winter months, but will be keeping Morton's Country Stores (Spar) fully stocked with our woodfired parbaked range to keep you going through to the spring.

WOW WHAT A SUMMER

As the sun sets on our festival bar I just wanted to say a massive thank you to our amazing team led by Fiona and Erica; and to our wonderful guests. We have really appreciated your support. What started as a pop up that might last perhaps 4 to 6 weeks eventually ran for over 6 months. Thank you also to Brian for his support and also to Richard, pulling the strings and paying the invoices behind the scenes!
So as we say farewell for now to our wonderful cask ales and cocktails, we still remain very much in business this month for collections of our fresh wood fired pizza.
We are moving to our Autumn hours of Thursday to Saturday, 5pm to 9pm and are continuing to trial local delivery on Fridays. If delivery proves popular we will extend to Thursday and Saturday.
Thank you all again so much. We hope you will be able to continue to come and collect and enjoy our pizza.

The weather was against us, but we went out on a high for the last night of our festival bar. Thank you so much to all of you that have supported us over the last six months, we have enjoyed your company and hope to see you back in the spring.

In the meantime you can still get your pizza fix as collections are still available Thurs - Sat 5pm - 9pm and home delivery is available on Friday evenings.

We can post our @home kits or parbaked pizzas nationally - great gifts for birthdays or Christmas.

We will also continue to stock Mortons Spar Tattenhall

DELIGHTED TO BE HAVING ONE LAST HURRAH BEFORE OUR ONE LAST HURRAH ! IT'S TONIGHT!


This Friday (24th) we are delighted to be welcoming Paul Joseph and Scratchband (or parts of it ) who will be playing for us for the evening.

We'll also be be celebrating beer as we move into Oktoberfest and we will be offering our cask beers and ciders at £3 and our craft lager at £4 FOR TONIGHT ONLY. We also have a special craft flight available - 4 amazing craft cans (a Helles, a Sour, an Imperial Stout and an IPA) for £10.

It goes of course without saying that we will have our amazing pizza available.

PIZZAFEST - A HUGE THANKYOU

Wow, what a weekend that was!

We are just about recovered from PizzaFest and would just like to give our thanks to all involved. It was a really special day and we hope those that came along enjoyed it and we would like to thank you all for your support.

Special thanks to all the producers and craft makers, all superb, and of course to the artists who entertained us throughout the day - thank you Scratchband, Nicky Phillips VillageBeatz and Steve Thomas - all absolutely amazing. Also to Brian and Erica for fabulous demonstrations. Thankyou also to Fiona and our fabulous team at FiredUp. Their boundless support, hard work and enthusiasm helped make it a really special day for all involved. We are so lucky and happy to have such an amazing team.

I am also delighted to advise that we raised £315 for CureLeukemia! not quite the £500 we had set as a target but a great contribution all the same - maybe VillageBeatz we 'll need one more hurrah before the summer ends to make up the difference? .

REFURBISHMENT

Well after an age that seemed to be pulling everything apart, we are finally putting things back together again. We have started at the top and are working our way down. 8 ensuite bedrooms are now taking shape. Keeping original features where we can and making the most of the internal shape of this fascinating building.

What a lovely week in the sunshine. Enjoying a drink and a pizza. Did you know on Fridays and Saturdays we now also do a Smoked Brisket Brioche with pickles and mustard mayo - using Redpoll Beef and Mrs. Darlington's Tewkesbury Mustard.

2500 COOKED PIZZA WINNER

Last week we realized that we were very close to selling our 2500th cooked pizza! This was claimed on Thursday night by Lloyd Owen with his pizza & prosecco deal. Congratulations to Lloyd who gets a pizza with our compliments with his next order.

STUDENTS APPLY LESSONS AT BEAR & RAGGED STAFF

Cookery and construction aren't two trades you typically see together, but for Cheshire College — South & West and The Bear and Ragged Staff they make the perfect pairing. Before the most recent lockdown, construction learners at Cheshire's largest College had been putting into practice new skills they've learnt in the classroom to support the renovation works required at the pub.
